SkopeSkins™ were designed for people who use stethoscopes, by people who use stethoscopes.  Jared, one of our co-founders, is a practicing ER Physician Assistant.  He became frustrated at how irritated his neck would get after wearing his stethoscope around his neck for 12-hour shifts. He also noticed that the oils from his skin would often degrade the rubber tubing of his stethoscope causing cracks, which he found was expensive to replace.  He assumed there had to be a solution out there, but what began as a simple internet search led to even more frustration. All he could find were baggy, cotton covers and cheap looking designs. This is when Jared reached out to his cousin and co-founder, Meg, who has years of experience working in marketing & product development, and together they’ve developed the best stethoscope covers on the market - SkopeSkins™!
